Go Digital or Die: Realities of Your Situation
As CEO of custom application development company Applied Visions, I have acquired a great deal of knowledge of application development, and the larger digital transformation taking hold over the past 30 years.
In an effort to share some of that knowledge, I recently decided to partner with long-time colleague Kristin Zhivago, president of Zhivago Partners, a digital marketing company. We have created a webinar series entitled “Go Digital or Die.”
The purpose of the series is to educate seasoned business owners who are struggling with the constant pace of technological change—and the reality that in order to compete they need to make their business more digital.
While this may sound daunting, the good news is that all of this technology stuff is learnable. Better yet, business owners don’t need to learn all of the details, especially when it comes to things such as programming and development of mobile applications. That’s what your team of specialists is for.
But you do need to understand the importance of going digital and the basic concepts behind it. Otherwise, you risk spending a lot of time and money that may not get you where you need to go.
In Episode 1 of the webinar series, “Realities of Your Situation,” Kristin and I discuss the importance of digital transformation from a high level, so business owners can truly appreciate the need to embrace the digital shift. We share stories from experiences with numerous companies and answer such questions as:
- Why “go digital or die”? Like it or not, your customers have come to expect a digital relationship with you. They want to chat with you at their convenience. They want to engage and interact with you in various channels.
- Why is mobile so important? Mobile has truly taken over. A successful mobile application is one of the primary ways customers will find you and how you will keep them engaged.
- What kind of people do I need on my team? Building a mobile app for your business takes more than just a decent programmer. You need engineers, quality assurance specialists, designers, and more.
- What does success look like? I share success stories of past clients across various industries, ranging from fitness to emergency services, so you can truly see how going digital can help you scale efficiently and reach new customers.
